Privacy Policy

Last modified on the 25th of July, 2023

This Privacy Policy outlines how AskMore collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use our services. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information from two categories of users: Interview Creators and Participants. For interview creators, we will collect the name and email on sign up. Whenever a new Interview gets created, we will also collect all the information used to create the Interview. This includes the Interview name, the product name and description, the interview goals, and the interview instructions. When participants reply to an interview, we will also collect their name and email as well as all the replies they gave during the interview, and the summaries generated by AskMore.
For Interview Participants, we will collect their name and email when they start an Interview, and all the replies they provide during the Interview.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to authenticate users, generate interview scripts, and to generate interview summaries.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

In order to generate interview scripts and summaries, we will share some of your information with third parties, namely OpenAI and Anthropic. The information we share with them is limited to what's required to generate an interview script (product name and description, interview goals, interview instructions), and to run the interview or generate a summary (participant's name and email, and all the replies provided during the interview).

Data Security

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure and take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, unauthorised access, modification, loss or disclosure. We do this by storing information securely, only accessing it when needed, restricting access to employees with authenticated access, and regularly updating and auditing our storage and data security systems.
However, we cannot 100% guarantee the security of your information, whether it is held by us or a third party tool we use.
Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we engage service providers. By using AskMore, you understand that personal information will be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, which means that different information rules may apply. In certain circumstances, governmental bodies, regulatory authorities and similar may be entitled to access your personal information.

Your Rights

You may request details of the personal information that we hold. We can share any information stored in AskMore servers in CSV format or any other easily readable machine format.
You may want to remove all personal information stored by AskMore. This can be done by reaching out to us via email at hi@askmore.ai. We will subsequently follow your request and provide transparent updates.
In all cases, we will respond within a reasonable time, usually less than a month. If your request is refused, we will give you a written notice that sets out the reasons for refusal (except to the extent it would be unreasonable to do so) and how to complain about the decision. This will not incur any expenses on your behalf.

Children's Privacy

We affirm that our services are not intended for children under 13 (or a different age as required by laws of their residence) and that we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Privacy Policy. We always indicate the date the last changes were published. Any amended Privacy Policy is effective immediately.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please send us an email at hi@askmore.ai.
